Seed of Life Initiative

Farmers for the Future, Future for the Farmers is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to provide necessary assistance to the farmers.

Philippines as country located along the typhoon belt in the Pacific, is visited by an average of 20 typhoons every year, five of which are destructive. Typhoon causes flash floods, mudslides, widespread flooding causing significant destruction and damages to the agricultural sector, these results in the worse condition of life of farmers who are the most affected during these times.

As an answer to this yearly dilemma, we started the ‘Seed Of Life Initiative’, this initiative requires us to gather necessary funding to support the farmers by giving them seeds for them to be able start farming again.

The seeds that will be given to them is according to their liking whether it’ll be corn, rice, peanut, and any other seeds. The funds will be coming from donations and support of our partners. Every penny that will be donated has a seed equivalent to it, and we assure our partners that the donations will surely be given to farmers worthy of our assistance.

We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, and when they need it.
